Giving Circle Event – June 28

Members and friends of the Cherry Blossom Giving Circle are invited to attend a learning and networking opportunity on Tuesday, June 28, from 6:00 – 7:30pm.  Over some light refreshments, we’ll have a chance to meet each other and hear about the state of the local AAPI community.

Agenda:

• Update from Noelle Ito, Director of Community Philanthropy, AAPIP
• The state of the local AAPI community, from representatives of the giving circle’s 2010 grantees, Emmaus Services for the Aging, Asian Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (API/DVRP), and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center (APALRC)
• Giving circle proposal review process and upcoming events
